Driss Sekkat is an award-winning multi-media executive credited with the launch of various TV/Digital formats. Driss led development of thousands of hours of original programming, global events and branded activations in news, sports, entertainment and finance.
In 2024, Driss served as broadcast executive producer of Taco Bell’s Live Más LIVE Super Bowl event, a behind-the-scenes broadcast featuring exclusive performances and celebrity appearances. The live format generated over 7.1 billion media impressions and earned a Webby Award nomination for Best Event Activation.
That same year, he produced the Kansas City Chiefs’ “World’s Largest Tailgate”, a 90-minute Super Bowl special hosted live by The Merrell Twins from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The event drew over 3 million viewers and received a Producers Guild Award nomination.
Driss launched two of the industry’s most innovative financial OTT platforms. In 2017, he was the founding executive producer of TD Ameritrade Network, building it from the ground up into a live, streaming financial news channel for retail traders. In 2023, he led the rebrand and relaunch of Charles Schwab Network, transforming it into a 24/7 digital platform broadcasting from both the New York Stock Exchange and Chicago. He oversaw the launch of 9 new live shows and more than 25 commercial campaigns, helping position the network as a go-to destination for market coverage.
In 2024, he reshaped The Hill’s flagship political show “Rising”, contributing to record growth in viewership, averaging 875,000 daily plays and nearly 20 million total views across platforms.
Earlier in his career, Driss made his mark in investigative documentary filmmaking. He created and executive produced several award-winning series, including “Street Pulse,” “Our Neighborhood,” and “Invisible Enemy”, exploring untold stories across North Africa and the Middle East. His work has been honored by the New York Festivals, CINE, and the AIB International Media Awards.
