Before we fully kickoff 2023, it’s important to reflect on the successes and accomplishments of the past 12 months. From expanding our client base and staff nationwide, to doubling the capacity of our Las Vegas broadcast operations center – we’ve achieved a great deal in the past year. However, a look back at 2022 must start with two very important groups of people that make all of this possible, our incredible clients and our hardworking staff.

Grateful for our amazing partners

2022 was a whirlwind and we are so incredibly grateful for the fantastic clients who trusted us with so many great projects. We are truly humbled by the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of individuals and organizations that challenge us each and every day.

Appreciation to a talented and hardworking production staff

Last year our staff was just on fire – they consistently knocked it out of the park all over the country. They’re the reason we’re able to do what we do, and we’re so thankful for all of their hard work and dedication. We’re lucky to have such talented and dedicated professionals on our team – we couldn’t do it without them.

We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished in 2022 and we’re excited to see what the future holds. Here’s a quick glimpse of what the team achieved:

Leveling up our staff and capabilities

First and foremost, the Broadcast Management Group is made up of some of the most hardworking and truly talented people in the industry, we are so lucky to have them on the team.

One of the major accomplishments for BMG in 2022 was the expansion of our full-time producing staff for news, sports, and entertainment, as well as our technical and operational staff. Our integration team also designed and built two additional BMG REMI mobile units and designed new REMI flight packs. These additions and improvements to our technology and equipment have greatly enhanced our ability to provide top-notch production services to our clients.

Broadcast Management Group expands our New York City footprint

In New York City, we transformed our Times Square offices into a spoke facility, connecting it full-time to our Broadcast Operations Center. This allows us to tap into the local production talent base and provides a location for local clients to be part of our BOC control room for live shows. We also built an insert studio for live shots and virtual set shows. The facility has the latest technology to support the following positions for Audio Mixing, Playback, Replay, Prompting, Virtual set Operators, producers, and directors.

Outsourced Services Division sees growth

Our outsourced services division also saw significant growth in 2022, managing client-owned broadcast facilities, providing long-term staffing, and providing production facilities leveraging our Broadcast Operations Center. We integrated full-time and an additional client-owned production facility into our Broadcast Operations Center, enabling the client to tap into our remote production staff and additional technical capabilities as needed and augment their full-time local staff and technology. We anticipate the demand for outsourced production services to continue to grow due to the benefits such as lower capital expenditures, less real estate needs, and lower headcount.

Live events are back!

Live events are an essential component of a brand’s marketing strategy because they provide an opportunity to connect with customers and audiences in a meaningful and memorable way- offering brands the opportunity to showcase their products and services, build relationships with customers, and create a sense of community and engagement. With all the amazing projects we completed nationwide in 2022, we can safely say that live events are back!

Our events division also saw significant growth in 2022, producing in-person, hybrid, and virtual events all over the country.

We are grateful for our clients, staff, and vendors, and we are excited about the potential of 2023. We will be sharing a few select 2022 case studies in the near future.

So, another year is in the books for Broadcast Management Group (BMG) and we couldn’t be more thrilled with what we accomplished in 2022. From expanding our client base and staff nationwide to doubling the capacity of our Las Vegas broadcast operations center, and expanding our mobile fleet, we’ve achieved a lot last year.

We also had a blast working on events all over the country and our outsourced services division was busier than ever, managing broadcast facilities and providing long-term staffing.

But, we couldn’t have done any of this without the support of our amazing clients, staff, and vendors. We truly appreciate their partnership and we look forward to continuing to provide exceptional production services in 2023. We’re excited for what’s next for BMG and are confident that with our team, technology, and equipment, we’ll continue to be at the forefront of the production industry.
