What Is Cloud Master Control?

Master Control is the operational engine that keeps your broadcast channels on air — ensuring every source, schedule, graphic, commercial, and outbound signal is delivered cleanly, compliantly, and on time.

BMG delivers this as a fully managed service, operated through our private Cloud Control Center™ and supported by the 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC). We handle:

  • Playout & SCTE signaling
  • Live inserts & commercial breaks
  • Graphics, sponsorships, & branding
  • QC, compliance, & logging
  • Routing, monitoring, & failover
  • Multi-platform distribution
  • Incident response & escalation

Your team focuses on programming. BMG handles everything required to keep your channel live.

Who It’s For

This service is designed for networks, channels, leagues, and organizations that rely on uninterrupted, compliant, broadcast-grade channel operations. Ideal for:

Broadcast & OTT Networks

Linear 24/7 channels, FAST channels, and multi-language feeds requiring consistent uptime and branding.

Sports, Events, & Rights Holders

Live alternate feeds, shoulder programming, multilingual commentary, and global digital distribution.

Corporate & Enterprise Channels

Internal or external channels supporting investor relations, employee programming, or customer-facing content.

Government & Public Sector Agencies

Regulated channels with strict audit trails, compliance mandates, and documented failover.

If your channel cannot go dark, your Master Control & Transmissions belong in BMG’s Cloud Control Center™.

  • Linear 24/7 channels

  • Sponsorship elements
  • SCTE-35/104 signaling
  • Regionalization & localization

Your channel remains visually consistent — globally and across all platforms.

Outcome: Clean, stable delivery to broadcast, FAST/OTT, CTV, enterprise portals, and global partners — with full redundancy.

Inside BMG’s NOC, engineers oversee every element of your operation:

  • All inbound sources
  • All distribution paths
  • Every SCTE marker
  • Every commercial break
  • Failover states & DR readiness

Escalation workflows, documentation, and SLAs ensure your channel stays on air.

Built for continuity — not just compliance.

  • Secondary encoders & signal paths
  • Multi-region cloud failover
  • DR playbooks & quarterly testing
  • Backup NOC support

Your channel survives outages that would take traditional facilities offline.

Master Control integrates directly with BMG’s Media Asset Management ecosystem:

  • Automated ingest
  • Versioning & QC
  • Archive retrieval
  • Edit-to-air pipelines

Your entire content lifecycle — from creation to playout — becomes a single connected workflow.

How it Works

Capture to cloud: On-site cameras and studio feeds are sent to BMG Cloud Control Center™, where Master Control and MAM operate as a unified ecosystem.

Produce and control: Operators inside the Master Control Room work through professional control surfaces and touchscreen panels for switching, audio, graphics, and routing — while remote users can access the same live environment through secure browser interfaces, ensuring seamless collaboration across locations.

  • KSP video switcher
  • AMPP audio mixer
  • Touchscreens and panels for clips/replay, graphics, routing, and intercom.

Monitor: BMG Cloud Control Center Multiviewers enable the team to view and monitor all signals in real-time, similar to a traditional control room monitor wall.

Graphics: Graphics are built and added inside the AMPP switcher.

Deliver and archive: The final program is distributed from the BMG Cloud Control Center to multiple destinations — including live broadcast, FAST and OTT channels, and social media platforms such as YouTube — while a full archive is securely stored within the BMG Cloud environment for replays, compliance, and future use.

What’s on site:

  • Cameras: 1 panoramic IQ‑4K, 2 PTZ (ring/net), 2 shoulder cams managed by the BMG team.
  • Talent: Two SSC commentators in the Stadium booth; reporters with live hits from the fan zone via LiveU.

How feeds reached the cloud:

  • LiveU and an AMPP Edge contribution server send the on‑site camera feeds into GV AMPP.
  • World and ISO feeds also arrive over SRT as primary/backup sources.

What’s produced:

  • A daily live multicamera segment, three 25‑minute game‑day shows, and a full 4‑hour broadcast, all produced in BMG Cloud Control Center with on‑site commentary.
  • BMG Cloud Control Center using AMPP switched video, mixed audio, rolled clips/promos/music, and added graphics.

How it’s monitored and coordinated: BMG Operators use multiview screens and a commentary panel to watch sources and manage talkback, as shown in the diagram.

Where it goes: Final programs delivered to any required destination(s) and saved to SSC archives (S3 bucket), as shown in the diagram.
