Amanda thought her career would be on the radio.

But when her applications went unanswered (hey, that’s show biz!), she got her start at Lakeshore PBS in Merrillville, Indiana.

Amanda graduated from Lewis University with a BA in Broadcast Journalism, originally intent on being a storyteller. While with Lakeshore PBS, she shot and edited high school sports highlights and interviews, magazine-style arts packages, newsreels, and worked on numerous live productions including the local favorite high school game show, Making the Grade.

Finding joy in sports, she eventually moved on to NBC Sports Chicago where she wore many hats for studio pregame and postgame live shows. Being a self-proclaimed “technical director by trade,” she loved being behind the switcher most of all. Now with BMG and TDA, Amanda looks forward to the next challenging adventure!

When not working, Amanda can usually be found buried in a book or casting Fireball (8d6 fire damage) alongside her friends.
