James graduated from TCU in 2017 with a Sports Broadcasting degree and a desire to enter the field of sports talk radio.
After 3.5 years as a marketing director and host/producer of several successful podcasts, he turned his focus to TV instead of radio. Over the course of the next four years, James worked as a freelance Xpression Operator, AP, and producer for sports, news, and entertainment broadcasts.
James has worked as the Graphics Operator for ESPN sports productions, Dr. Phil Primetime, various news shows, Dallas Mavericks, TCU, SMU, LA Tech, high school football, rodeo, and many others. He has produced and been AP for many of these same productions.
It took a few years after college, but James has found his passion in live TV production. He has a hyper-focused attention to detail and a desire to make each broadcast the best it can be. Through his work at different colleges with broadcast students, he has also developed a love for teaching people who are new to the industry and have a desire to improve their skills.
Outside of work, James enjoys hiking, reading, playing video games, and watching Nicolas Cage movies. He currently lives in Arlington, VA, with his partner, Stephanie, and their cat, George.
