Jason Vega is a talented, high-functioning leader with more than two decades of accounting and human resources experience.
As BMG’s Chief Operating Officer, Jason is responsible for all business operations, including finance, logistic operations, and human resources. He has the unique ability to grasp the most complex issues and challenges, find sound solutions, and implement processes to move the business forward. Jason is never happy with the status quo and always looks for creative and innovative ways to grow and expand the business.
Jason is a native of Puerto Rico. He began his professional career in New York working at Chase Manhattan Mortgage. Although Jason had only intended to stay for the summer, he was recognized for his potential and leadership qualities. He began full-time employment with the company in accounting/human resources and was promoted to lead the team. Jason eventually pivoted to the staffing/recruiting space, where he was quickly promoted to client relations manager.
Jason joined Broadcast Management Group in 2019 as Human Resources Manager. He excelled in this role, quickly rising to become Senior Vice President of Human Resources. As SVP of HR, he continued to build his senior leadership and operations skills. His experiences have allowed him to grow organically within the company.
In addition to being fluent in Spanish, Jason acquired basic Korean language skills during his time deployed overseas, where he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Outside of work, Jason loves to be spontaneous, indulging in travel, fine dining, reading fiction, horseback riding, video gaming, and dancing. He is also an avid sports fan, dedicated to his beloved NY teams.
