Broadcast Management Group’s Cloud Control Center™ in Washington, DC, hosts its state-of-the-art Network Operations Center. The Network Operations Center is a comprehensive Broadcast Center designed to support linear and digital networks, Fast Channels, corporate and enterprise video clients, VOIP networks, and government agencies. BMG has client facilities around the country connected to its NOC, allowing clients to staff up and add production capabilities and capacity on demand. BMG’s Cloud Control Center™ enables production teams to work on-site or remotely, capitalizing on its proprietary “Centralized Technology, Decentralized Production Team” workflow.

Media Asset Management

BMG’s end-to-end MAM offering delivers a comprehensive software and cloud server/storage solution, leveraging the BMG Cloud Control Center™, a purpose-built private cloud designed by BMG’s System Design and Integration team. Shows can live stream from the BMG MAM system while editors access the content in real-time. The BMG MAM system can help you optimize your content and content rights worldwide.

Master Control

BMG’s playout facility helps clients originate and manipulate content to meet their needs. The BMG Transmission, Distribution, and Content Delivery Network (CDN) for IPTV and linear television broadcasts gets your channel or content worldwide in the shortest amount of time at competitive rates while assuring the best quality of service. Using our custom automated solution, we can provide a full 24/7, 365-channel playout from a file-based solution featuring Grass Valley’s scalable Agile Media Processing Platform (AMPP) technology. BMG can ramp up new networks quickly, increasing speed to market while lowering capital and operational costs for its clients.

Video Shading

BMG’s video shading services ensure color accuracy and visual consistency for every broadcast, providing a professional finish for every production. BMG can provide video shading from its NOC for its mobile units, onsite studios, and client-connected facilities worldwide.

Graphics/Editing

BMG offers high-end graphics and editing capabilities to create stunning visuals, overlays, and content enhancements to elevate your production. You can use your editors remotely, or utilize BMG’s internal editing and graphics team to coincide with your live broadcast or post-production.

Transmissions

BMG provides worldwide transmissions via fiber, VoIP, and satellite. We can help you reach your audience on any device, anywhere in the world.

Broadcast Video Control Rooms

BMG’s NOC features four state-of-the-art control rooms featuring the Grass Valley Kayenne K-Frame 4 ME switchers. These control rooms host the technology to support the most sophisticated large-scale broadcast productions in 1080p HDR. The control rooms support feeds from on-site production trucks or client connected studios worldwide, including BMG’s D.C. studios.

Broadcast Audio Control Rooms

Four Yamaha CL5, 5.1 Dolby audio control rooms are designed to meet modern broadcast demands. They ensure flawless sound quality and efficient monitoring during live production.

Insert Studio

The insert studio is designed to host live shots, media tours, press junkets, corporate addresses, and virtual set production, leveraging its global connectivity. Talent amenities include a green room, makeup/dressing room, and parking, all in a secured facility. The Washington Broadcast Center is 5 miles from the White House and Capitol, 15 minutes from Chevy Chase and Bethesda, and 10 minutes from the Capital Beltway.

System Design and Integration

BMG provides comprehensive system integration services, including design, procurement, installation, and training. Whether building a new broadcast infrastructure or upgrading your current setup, BMG’s expertise will ensure a custom solution that meets your needs, taking advantage of the latest cloud solutions. BMG also provides ongoing engineering maintenance and support for client-owned facilities.

Event Production Deployment Center

BMG’s NOC also houses the company’s expansive event inventory, which services the Eastern half of the United States. This includes lighting, rigging, sound, monitors, stands, camera equipment, flight packs, set elements, staging, and streaming equipment. BMG also has a West Coast hub in Las Vegas with a similar capacity.

Mobile Units and Trucking Equipment

The NOC also houses BMG’s East Coast-based mobile units that travel and cover the Eastern half of the United States. It also houses various support units in its events division, system design and integrations, and live productions. BMG also has a West Coast hub with a similar capacity.

Production Studios (Coming in Phase 2)

BMG is soon developing two versatile production studios designed for live and live-to-tape broadcasts, talk shows (with or without an audience), covering news, sports, entertainment, and corporate events. These spaces will include the latest broadcast technology for superior video and audio production quality, accompanied by several production offices, a makeup room, and a green room.
