Master control is the command center for live broadcasts. It oversees everything needed to get a show on air—switching sources, mixing audio, adding graphics, keeping branding consistent, monitoring feeds, and sending out the final program. This can be done on premise, in the cloud, or with a hybrid configuration.
The BMG Cloud Control Center™ brings together advanced technologies — including Master Control and MAM powered by AMPP — to transform how broadcast workflows are executed.
With BMG’s Cloud Control Center, your entire broadcast workflow is managed seamlessly—from ingesting content online to real-time monitoring, live delivery to TV and social platforms, and automatic archiving. All operations are unified in a single, easy-to-use interface, so your production flows smoothly from start to finish.
“On‑premise‑grade live production and master‑control workflow entirely in the cloud”
Responsive, Low-Latency Platform – Real-time operation and monitoring from anywhere, even for complex, multi-camera productions.
Multi-Platform Distribution – Deliver the same live feed to broadcast, FAST, OTT, social media, and archive destinations simultaneously, ensuring consistent branding and maximum audience reach.
Integrated Video/Audio Mixing & Graphics – Professional-quality output with minimal staff. Match traditional Outside Broadcast setups at a fraction of the cost.
Remote Commentary & Multi-Language Support – Engage global audiences with live translation and remote talent.
Scalable for Any Event Size – Easily ramp up for major events.
Cloud Archiving & Media Management – Secure, accessible cloud storage for all your content, making it easy to repurpose, replay, and monetize while staying fully compliant.
Cloud-Native Production Workflow – No expensive on-site hardware. Launch and manage broadcasts from anywhere.
Subscription/PAY as you expand models – Reduce upfront investment, keep costs predictable.

Capture to cloud – On-site cameras and studio feeds are sent to BMG Cloud Control Center — integrating Master Control and MAM.
Produce and control – Operators inside the Master Control Room work through professional control surfaces and touchscreen panels for switching, audio, graphics, and routing — while remote users can access the same live environment through secure browser interfaces, ensuring seamless collaboration across locations:
Monitor – BMG Cloud Control Center Multiviewers enable the team to view and monitor all signals in real-time, similar to a traditional control wall.
Graphics – Graphics are built and added inside the AMPP switcher using Singular. Live.
Deliver and archive – The final program is distributed from the BMG Cloud Control Center to multiple destinations — including live broadcast, FAST and OTT channels, and social media platforms such as YouTube — while a full archive is securely stored within the BMG Cloud environment for replays, compliance, and future use.

What was on site:
How feeds reached the cloud:
What they produced:
How they monitored and coordinated – BMG Operators use multiview screens and a commentary panel to watch sources and manage talkback, as shown in the diagram.
Where it went – Final programs were delivered to MBC and to social/streaming via Wildmoka, and saved to SSC archives (S3 bucket), as shown in the diagram.
Problem: Deliver a live rocket launch broadcast from a remote location with limited on‑site infrastructure.
Solution: BMG Cloud Control Center (powered by platforms like GV AMPP) ran master control end-to-end in the cloud—encompassing live switching, audio mixing, graphics/branding, communications, and multiview monitoring—operated directly from a browser. Field cameras contributed over IP to the cloud (e.g., SRT via contribution gateways such as AMPP Edge). The finished program was then distributed to broadcast/OTT/social platforms, and archived automatically for compliance and VOD purposes.
Outcome: Broadcast‑grade coverage without building a full control room on site—faster setup, lower cost, and the ability to scale the team and toolset as needed, with the responsiveness and low latency operators expect from on‑premise control rooms.
Read the Full Case StudyBMG runs the entire master control stack—channel origination, playout, branding, graphics, running ads, audio, routing, monitoring, and compliance—so your team focuses on content, not infrastructure. BMG also has all the equipment and staff needed to produce large-scale productions.
Yes, we can build multiple master control centers. BMG designed and installed a Master Control Center for Virginia Public Media, enabling the management of 15 distinct television feeds, each with unique branding and audio configurations.
We use a defense-in-depth approach. Video feeds are contributed over secure IP paths (e.g., SRT) or your private network, where available. We can also integrate directly inside on-premises IP plants (ST 2110). In real deployments, feeds were brought into the cloud (AWS) and archived to object storage (S3) with controlled access. Some clients also leverage private MPLS media networks for contribution and distribution. We integrate seamlessly with your security policies and networking model—cloud, on-prem IP, or hybrid—without forcing a rip-and-replace.
We can right-size toolsets and run concurrent shows from one environment. In similar deployments, teams have run up to eight simultaneous productions in a multifeed gallery and combined multifeed plus branding galleries to output five events simultaneously.
We support integrated graphics inside the switcher and can also pair with existing engines like Vizrt over NDI, plus replay servers where needed.
Yes. We commonly combine SRT over the internet with private links (like MPLS) to meet your reliability and security requirements, as seen in the SSC deployment.
Yes. While many clients use our Cloud Control Center™, we can also deploy Master Control within your public cloud or private infrastructure, depending on your workflow and security preferences.
