Arise News was no different when it came to the production of “Arise Sunday.” It was important to the network to produce a high caliber, professional news program while keeping costs within a strict budget. Broadcast Management Group was able to use its contacts and experience to staff every production using top industry professionals, while keeping costs within budget. Broadcast Management Group also identified long-term cost savings for the network and made recommendations on how to leverage the weekend crew and facilities to produce additional content for the network.

All production staff was booked locally in Washington, DC with Broadcast Management Group’s CEO and EVP of Production filling the rolls of Executive in Charge of Production and Production Manager.

Project Overview

Broadcast Management Group was contracted to provide live production services, technical management, and production staffing for the launch of a 1-hour weekly news program for Arise News, titled “Arise Sunday.” The program was produced at the Newseum in Washington, DC and featured segments from around the globe as well as in-studio guests. “Arise Sunday” aired in Africa and England and streamed to the Arise News website each Sunday.

Many new networks are budget conscious. Arise News was no different when it came to the production of “Arise Sunday.” It was important to the network to produce a high caliber, professional news program while keeping costs within a strict budget.
