Al Jazeera Network contracted Broadcast Management Group, leveraging our 20 years of experience covering US Presidential elections and major events, to produce its US town hall series. Al Jazeera Arabic is the most significant news network in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region, boasting an audience of over 430 million viewers spanning more than 150 countries. BMG was tasked with producing five 60-minute live-to-tape town halls focusing on the US Presidential election.
With just three weeks to plan the event, BMG designed and built a custom set, provided the lighting design and equipment, managed and provided video production technology, and coordinated logistics for trucking to four cities over four weeks. The events took place in Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, and Dearborn, MI, each with an audience of 200 people.
BMG’s production management team led the execution of all set design and fabrication, lighting design and equipment, translations, and video production technology. Over four weeks, we managed logistics for trucking to four cities while coordinating over 255 crew members for video production, lighting, scenic elements, and audio. BMG took full ownership of the successful execution of this tour, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
