To support the live production, Broadcast Management Group was responsible for creating the full graphics package, including an animated show open, lower thirds, and bumpers. In addition to the on-screen broadcast graphics for America Speaks, our creative services team designed on-set signage for the live production, which tied into the look and feel of the graphics treatment. The biggest challenge to designing the graphics treatment for the show was the tight production timeline. Broadcast Management Group was awarded the project less than two weeks from the scheduled shoot day, which required our creative services team to work quickly to design all graphic assets and incorporate any client feedback.
Deliverables
  • Design and integration of all graphics for two, 1-hour specials, including lower thirds, bumpers and intro animations
  • Design of all branded set elements
Project Overview

Broadcast Management Group was contracted to provide creative services to support Arise News’ “America Speaks: Cops, Guns & Black Lives” townhall special in Washington, DC.

The intro animation featured sound bites from people throughout the country weighing in on topics discussed during the program. All of this content was shot by Broadcast Management Group and needed to be quickly turned over to our creative team for integration into the show opening.

Once we were in-studio for the live production, there were several last minute requests that needed to be fulfilled. This required our in-house designers to quickly make edits and adjustments, then send content back to our control room for integration into the live production.
