Broadcast Management Group (BMG) was excited to be chosen by the Vegas Knight Hawks and the Indoor Football League as the turn-key packager for the inaugural IFL season at The Dollar Loan Center, including five local Knight Hawks games and the first-ever IFL National Championship game, showcased throughout the world. With our expertise of having produced Vegas Knight Hawks games throughout the season, BMG was tasked to bring the high quality of our weekly productions to the Championship game, and of course we added some unique enhancements.
In coordination with our Team and League partners, and led by Executive Producer Graham Taylor, the BMG team created a run-of-show plan, integrating a diverse announce team consisting of a two or three-person booth, sideline reporter, and host, to create great shows that featured the compelling storylines of the game during the first season of the IFL in Nevada.
Detailed pre-planning for commercial, sales and marketing elements in the weeks leading up to games, along with week-of-show pre-production, team and coaches’ meetings, feature and content editing, was executed to meet our clients’ needs, while maintaining an overall quality format to showcase the excitement of the game. With either one set-day, or same-day set-shoot-strike events, the experienced BMG production team, working with additional stakeholders at The Dollar Loan Center (TDLC), was able to efficiently put all production resources in place in time for game-day rehearsal and a high-quality game execution.
Utilizing our proprietary Remi workflow of centralized technology and decentralized staffing, BMG was able to provide production resources beyond a simple local show, allowing for new and creative production opportunities. During the Championship, BMG was able to capture the exciting and intimate moments of both the players and fans for the Quad City Steamwheelers and Northern Arizona Wranglers with a few enhancements our talented operations staff could provide, including unique POV angles and RF cameras and audio usage.
The Championship broadcast consisted of 9 camera options, including a wireless roaming handheld used to capture unique fan and player shots, as well as bench robotics to bring you on the benches. BMG utilized its newly expanded Broadcast Operations Center with state-of-the-art equipment to provide six replay channels, three graphic channels, and all the necessary audio resources to capture the excitement of the regular season and Championship events.
BMG has built a legacy of covering championship events and welcomes the opportunity to work on these exciting and important events for the Fans, Teams and Leagues they represent
