OKG, one of the industry’s top sports packagers, contracted Broadcast Management Group to provide technical facilities and staffing for five college football games on ESPN+. All games were within the Big 12 Conference throughout Texas and Oklahoma.

BMG leveraged its proprietary centralized technology and decentralized staffing workflow to meet OKG’s production needs. Our team provided a 7-camera REMI mobile unit for each game, which fed audio and video paths to our Broadcast Operations Center in Las Vegas, where each game was switched, mixed, and transmitted.

On-site, BMG provided an EIC and Tech Manager. OKG provided all other on-site support staff, including camera ops, audio assists, and utilities. At our Broadcast Operations Center, BMG supplied a staff EIC, A1, TD, and replay operator, while OKG provided the Producer and Director roles. BMG provided primary and back transmission paths to ESPN’s uplink facility and Bristol, CT.
