Over two weeks, Schwab leveraged the BMG Cloud Control Center™ while its control room in Chicago was used to rehearse every aspect of the rebranding of the network and 7 daily live shows. BMG installed a Ross switcher control panel and audio control panel in a room in Chicago, allowing BMG full-time Schwab team access to BMG Cloud Control Center™. In addition to the team in Chicago, BMG staff at its New York Time Squire, Washington DC, and Las Vegas facilities also operated the BMG Cloud Control Center™. This gave the network the time to rehearse for the relaunch seamlessly and cost-effectively.
BMG has provided managed services for the TD Ameritrade Network for over 6 years, including systems design and integration, staffing, disaster recovery, and creative services.
In 2017, TD Ameritrade was the first major corporation to launch its own OTT Financial News Network. TD Ameritrade engaged BMG to consult, design and build its production facilities including creating all of the show formats, designing all of the graphics to establish the network look, and provide the network’s staffing including management.
In January 2023, Charles Schwab contracted Broadcast Management Group (BMG) to support the OTT network as it needed to free up its Chicago control room for two weeks of rehearsals for the total rebrand and launch of the network from the TD Ameritrade Network to The Schwab Network. The network successfully and seemingly relaunched under its new brand, Schwab Network, on Monday August 21, 2023.
