Executive Summary

A leading global hospitality brand partnered with Broadcast Management Group (BMG) to centralize and elevate its in-house video production capabilities. The client needed a purpose-built studio and control room within its corporate headquarters to serve as the creative hub for global communications, brand storytelling, and training content.

Through consulting, design, and systems integration, BMG delivered a complete, turnkey solution—building a fully automated production facility and supporting the client’s long-term strategy to scale content creation worldwide. The result: a modern, cost-efficient broadcast operation connected to BMG’s Cloud Control Center™, giving the client control, consistency, and scalability across its global footprint.

Background / Challenge

The global hospitality company recognized early on that digital and video content were essential for engaging both customers and employees. However, video production across their international offices lacked standardization—ranging from phone-based internal videos to outsourced high-end productions.

The challenge was clear: they needed to produce more content, at higher quality, with consistent branding, while controlling costs and turnaround times. To achieve that, the company engaged BMG to analyze workflows, validate the business case for a dedicated in-house production facility, and ultimately design, build, and support that infrastructure.

BMG Engagement by Phase

1. Consulting

BMG’s consulting team conducted a complete workflow and ROI analysis for an internal corporate production operation.

  • Interviewed executive stakeholders and content creators to identify needs and goals.
  • Audited existing workflows, vendor relationships, and cost structures.
  • Delivered a comprehensive proposal comparing the ROI of internal production versus continued outsourcing.
  • Defined staffing models, space utilization, and technology requirements to support multi-department creative needs.

2. Facility Design and Build

Following a positive ROI determination, BMG was contracted to design and build the client’s first dedicated corporate studio.

  • Engineered a studio, control room, three edit suites, rack room, and technical core.
  • Designed an automated workflow enabling a single operator to manage multiple production functions.
  • Oversaw construction management, permitting coordination, and general contractor collaboration.
  • Provided detailed engineering drawings for HVAC, electrical load, and network connectivity.

3. Creative Services

BMG’s creative and integration teams collaborated on the facility’s visual and functional aspects.

  • Designed and installed custom lighting, scenic elements, and set design.
  • Integrated a flexible layout to accommodate interviews, internal broadcasts, and live streams.
  • Ensured consistent brand presentation across all visual assets.

4. Staffing, Daily Operations, and Engineering Support

BMG provided on-site and remote support during commissioning and go-live.

  • Conducted staff training and developed detailed operational documentation.
  • Delivered user-friendly automation systems to streamline production.
  • Continued engineering and maintenance support post-launch.
  • Introduced remote control and monitoring capabilities through BMG’s Cloud Control Center™ for technical oversight and reliability.

5. Scale Operations

After the success of the flagship facility, BMG worked with the client to expand its content capabilities globally.

  • BMG designed custom portable production kits for regional offices, linked to the headquarters and BMG Cloud Control Center™ for centralized support.
  • To date, BMG has built event space locations in Virginia, Memphis, and Texas, with plans to add NYC and overseas locations in 2026. Each area can produce content and live events independently, or be controlled by the client’s corporate control room and/or BMG’s Network Operations Center, providing the ultimate flexibility.
  • Created a scalable workflow model for consistent production standards across international properties.
  • Established global continuity plans and disaster recovery capabilities for corporate broadcasts.

Results / Impact

Through BMG’s turnkey managed services, the client transformed its corporate communications into a global content engine.

  • Built an in-house studio that reduced outside production costs and accelerated content delivery.
  • Unified creative, marketing, and communications teams under a single production workflow.
  • Improved brand consistency across all internal and external messaging.
  • Enabled remote and distributed production through BMG’s cloud-connected network.
