SV Productions and their client, Lambda Legal, contracted our live production team to provide technical execution and support for a live virtual event. Broadcast Management Group designed and deployed a technical workflow to accommodate remote guests and multiple cameras transmitting from New York City.
Using a LiveU LU-800 transmitter, BMG brought back two remote cameras from New York to our REMI control room in Las Vegas. Both cameras were brought into our REMI workflow and were switchable sources throughout the program. From Las Vegas, we sent a teleprompter feed to the talent in New York and fed content to several on-set monitors. All on-location technical crew had access to our Unity intercom system, allowing real-time communication and direction.
Prior to the live program, BMG shot and edited pre-produced video packages, which were incorporated into the live program. Additionally, our creative services team designed all graphics for the program as well as a custom microsite.
BMG executed the “Liberty Awards National Dinner” by utilizing our REMI facility in Las Vegas. BMG brought all remote feeds into our facility, switched the show, mixed audio, and added graphics and playback. Our remote staff in Washington, DC, New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas provided technical execution of the program.
