InspoHub, a UK-based video production company partnered with Broadcast Management Group (BMG) to provide technical facilities and staffing for the Hyrox North American Championship live stream. Leveraging its REMI Mobile Unit 3, BMG provided comprehensive support, including an 8-camera flypack setup, on-site production facilities, technical support, production staffing, and live streaming services.
With less than a week before going live, InspoHub entrusted BMG’s live production division to provide and manage the technical execution of Hyrox North American Championship live stream. As a leader in fitness racing, Hyrox hosts major championships globally, streaming broadcasts to its official Hyrox YouTube channel. This project demanded seamless collaboration among various stakeholders, including InspoHub, BMG, and the Hyrox teams dispersed across Europe and the U.S.
The broadcast featured a total of 8 cameras, including two wireless, one manned, and five POVs. To capture the unique running elements of the competition, BMG procured a Raptor Trike electric dolly system, ensuring flexible coverage while maintaining broadcast quality. Additionally, BMG seamlessly integrated with Hyrox’s real-time graphics and stats using Ross Xpression. Communication needs were addressed through the deployment of a 20 beltpack Romeo system, catering to broadcast, technical, and Hyrox administrative requirements. BMG also provided broadcast headsets, IFBs, and monitors for talent, covering booth and field needs.
Utilizing RMU 3, the team tested and integrated client-specific equipment needs at their DC office. Once onsite at the Washington DC Convention Center, BMG’s team, comprising an EIC, Tech Manager, and A1, collaborated with InspoHub staff to deliver a customized video village tailored to their requirements. Remote engineering support was also provided from BMG’s Chicago office.
