When FlightLine Films needed their new 53’ remote production truck designed and built in record time, they knew just who to call. Broadcast Management Group’s system integration team accepted the challenge to design, engineer, and install the system in the truck in under 30 days. The Broadcast Management Group team started working 16-hour days to meet the FlightLine Films deadline. System drawings were created, wire run lists, and cut sheets were produced in record time. Wires were cut, terminated, tested, and labeled by one team as another team went to work wiring up the system. The system included 20 video patchbays, 50 encoders, 50 decoders, multiple video routers, I/O panels, an intercom system, 12 recorders, 2 replay systems, 8 cameras, conversion equipment, and monitors.
Broadcast Management Group’s VP of Engineering and Production Engineer took the lead on the completion of the FlightLine remote production truck. Working from Broadcast Management Group’s Las Vegas office, our engineering team created all technical drawings and cabling lists. With a plan in place, our engineering began working around the clock to create, terminate, and test cables and install all necessary equipment for completion of the mobile unit. As a live production company, our system integration team understands all the needed components for an OB truck.
