The Pro Tour Continues in Savannah

BMG was back on the course this month for Stop 2 of 6 of the Pro Tour golf tournament series, hosted at the Club at Savannah Harbor in Savannah, Georgia.

As the series builds momentum, BMG’s production model continues to deliver live coverage at each stop with a streamlined on-site footprint and centralized production through our Network Operations Center in Washington, DC. For Savannah, one of our custom REMI units and a field team were on the ground in Georgia, while the core broadcast was produced from the NOC, with additional team members supporting remotely.

Across the series, BMG is providing far more than live production. Our team supports the full broadcast operation, show format development, producing team, director, graphics, and editorial, as well as production management, technical facilities, and staffing. The series is leveraging BMG’s full ecosystem: production, media asset management, and growing file workflows that support real-time editing and channel playout.

The Savannah stop also delivered one of the best moments of the tournament so far: a Ryan Succop hole-in-one during the final round.

Managed Services Update: Supporting Clients Across the Country

BMG’s managed services work continued to grow in May, with our team embedded across multiple ongoing client operations.

Schwab Network

BMG continued to support the Schwab Network through managed services for daily production, staffing, and broadcast operations. As the network produces live financial programming across multiple locations, BMG’s team remains a core part of the operation, supporting the consistency and execution required for a 24/7 financial media environment.

Recent highlights include the launch of the Market Matters podcast and Michael Saylor’s appearance on Market Overtime, both reflecting the continued growth of Schwab Network’s programming across live, digital, and on-demand formats.

Global Hospitality Brand

BMG continued to provide managed services support for a global hospitality brand, powering enterprise communications and live programming across facilities in Virginia, Memphis, and Dallas, with additional locations planned in 2026 and beyond. This work reflects the growing demand for large organizations to build reliable, in-house production environments that support executive communications, town halls, and high-visibility events without having to rebuild workflows for every show.

UBS Studios

UBS Studios continued settling into its new expanded studio environment this month, designed and built by BMG’s System Design and Integration team.

The updated space includes an enlarged set and upgraded control room capabilities, supporting a wider range of programming. This month, UBS also relaunched its award-winning series Road to the Election, focusing on the 2026 midterm elections.

While BMG’s managed services team operates the UBS studio, podcast facility, and control room in New York City, the backend infrastructure is hosted at BMG’s Cloud Control Center™ Network Operations Center in Washington, DC. That hybrid model allows UBS to scale additional transmissions, staffing, and technical facilities on demand while maintaining the flexibility of a full on-site operation.

Tawfiq Rahman Presents at SMPTE Bits by the Bay

This month, Tawfiq Rahman, BMG’s Vice President of System Design & Engineering, presented at SMPTE Bits by the Bay on the shift toward software-defined, AI-augmented broadcast infrastructure.

His presentation, “Built to Evolve,” explored how broadcast systems are moving from traditional SDI-based environments toward IP, NMOS, cloud workflows, and AI-supported operations. The core message was direct: SDI was the right answer for its era, but today’s production environments require infrastructure built for more channels, more formats, remote production, and multiple distribution endpoints.

Tawfiq also addressed where AI is already delivering real value in broadcast operations, metadata, QC, compliance, search, and content reuse, while highlighting the importance of trust, provenance, and cross-skilled engineering teams.
