BMG Supports The Pro Tour’s 2026 Championship at Lake of Isles

Since April, BMG has partnered with The Pro Tour to produce five tournaments across five golf course venues, featuring retired professional athletes from the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL, including Hall of Famers. Congratulations to Aaron Hicks on his 2026 Pro Tour Championship victory at Lake of Isles at Foxwoods Resort Casino in North Stonington, CT, and to everyone behind an incredible inaugural season of professional golf.

BMG brought together its creative, technical, and operational capabilities to build the broadcast from the ground up. From developing the broadcast format and on-air look to engineering a new approach to capturing golf and providing the production staff to execute each event, BMG managed the workflow from the course to the audience.

We’re proud to have been part of The Pro Tour’s inaugural season and grateful to everyone at BMG who helped bring each tournament to life.

BMG at IBC 2026: Insights from Amsterdam

Todd Mason, BMG CEO, and Sean Wybourn, BMG CTO, recently traveled to Amsterdam for IBC 2026 on behalf of BMG, connecting with technology partners and industry leaders from across the broadcast and media industry.

One of the biggest takeaways was the shift toward more flexible and connected production workflows. TAMS is moving closer to real-world workflow integration, while private and multitenant cloud environments give organizations more control over how they manage their media. The conversations at IBC also reinforced that remote and distributed production is becoming a standard part of modern broadcast operations.

For Todd and Sean, the most valuable conversations focused on how technology can solve real production challenges, helping teams work more efficiently while improving flexibility, reliability, and scalability.

ESPN+ College Football: REMI Production Across Remote Teams

BMG supported ESPN+ digital streams for Weeks 2 and 4 of the college football season, delivering two Mid-American Conference (MAC) games.

Using BMG’s proprietary REMI workflows, BMG produced and coordinated production teams across the NOC and remote locations, with technical operations managed from the NOC and the producer, director, font coordinator, and bug operations working remotely. A full RTS communications infrastructure and seven BMG custom multiviews kept teams connected throughout each broadcast. Five-person camera crews leveraged IP transmission infrastructure.

Continued Investment in BMG’s Private Cloud Infrastructure with EVS

We’re excited to announce a major upgrade to BMG’s replay infrastructure. We’ve deployed EVS’s latest-generation XT-VIA SportLite platform inside the BMG Cloud Control Center™, bringing 4K/UHD, super-slow-motion, and AI-powered replay capabilities to every production across our connected ecosystem. Everything at the BMG Cloud Control Center™ is Tier-1 enterprise-level infrastructure, which means our talented operators in Washington, D.C., New York, Las Vegas, Toronto, and across North America now have access to the same world-class replay technology—whether it’s a live sports broadcast, a launch event, or a 24/7 channel operation. This is our continued commitment to putting the best tools in the hands of our operators and making infrastructure a competitive advantage, not a limitation.

Managed Services Update: Schwab Network Builds on Record Digital Growth

Schwab Network continued its strong digital momentum in September, with YouTube recording its fourth consecutive month of record viewership. According to Executive Producer Justin O’Neil, audience interest remained high around the Magnificent Seven, artificial intelligence, and the Federal Reserve, with special live coverage of the Fed’s first rate hike since 2023 featured on The Watch List and Market on Close.

The network also debuted new episodes of Market Overtime, featuring investor Anthony Pompliano and technology analyst Dan Ives. September programming included conversations with executives and industry leaders from Qualcomm, Zscaler, Alibaba.com, DraftKings, and HPE.

Looking Ahead: The Schwab Network/BMG team is preparing to launch a new on-air graphics package, including updated lower thirds and refreshed looks for Morning Trade Live and Trading 360.
